Environmentally Friendly Design

Why settle for less? When it comes to protecting your equipment from damaging energy forces we can provide you with the highest quality product at a competitive price that simply cannot be surpassed by the competition. When equipment uptime is critical, ECO series industrial shock absorbers from Enidine provide you the protection and long lasting performance you deserve, saving you time and money.

Enidine has revolutionized the industrial shock absorber market with the release of the industries first environmentally friendly design that stands up to the harsh environments provided by today's most critical applications.

Enidine ECO Series Industrial Shock Absorbers
The ECO Series was designed using materials and fluids that are safe for our global environment. Models have the flexibility to accommodate a wide range of operating conditions with varying masses or propelling forces and cover a variety of application parameters. Whether your application has a low velocity/high drive force or high velocity/low drive force condition, the New ECO Series will deliver the performance you come to expect.

Enidine ECO Series Shock Absorbers Salt Spray

Ideal for Food and Beverage applications or other corrosive environments where product longevity is critical to machine life. Enidine’s New ECO series industrial shock absorbers offer the best corrosion resistance package for the standard product range in the industry by enduring a 336 hour continuous salt spray test.

If I am currently using a Pro or PM model shock absorber, how do I know which ECO series product to use?

The Interchange link located above, it will assist you in upgrading from the current product to the new ECO series product.

Is the ECO series RoHS compliant?

Yes. With the Enicote II surface finish and elimination of other materials used on internal components, the ECO series shock absorber is fully RoHS Compliant.

What is Enicote II?

Enicote II is our new surface finish used on all external components. This coating is RoHS compliant and provides a better corrosion resistant coating than our legacy nickel plating and competitive products.

Why did you decide to consolidate the Pro and PM models?

This decision was made in order to simplify our product lines by offering fewer models.  This will also enable us to deliver the product quicker with a reduced number of part numbers to build.

Why did you pick the name ECO Series?

RoHS is an environmental initiative putting restrictions on potentially hazardous materials.  By making all of the modifications to eliminate any potentially hazardous metal or coating, we have added to this by including the change to bio-degradable hydraulic fluids.  All of these changes are done with the environment in mind, thus, we decided to go with an environmental name like ECO – for ECOlogical.  Additionally, ITT Corporation has many initiatives designed at improving our environment – including our people, facilities, packaging and now our products.
